Rainham’s 1st and 3rd Teams got their 2021 seasons underway with convincing wins.

The 1st Team beat Gore Court at home by 10 wickets – they restricted the visitors to 130 all out (3 wickets a piece for Chris Small, Myles Lusinski (on 1st Team debut) and Callum Mitchell) and knocked off the runs without losing a wicket (Michael Tyrer 96*, Aaron Hawkins 22*).

The 3rd Team meanwhile won by 59 runs – they posted a score of 276-4 (James Hatton 97, Javed Waqas 75) and Orpington Ocelots finished on 217-9 (Saju Muthalaly 6-35).
