A Rainham CC flag has now been proudly raised next to the new pavilion at Rainham CC. Thanks go to Glen Cook, Lol Goodwin and Andy Mortimore, who all contributed to the cost and were involved in installing the flagpole and flag.

Jamie Ward Breaks Club Record

Congratulations to Jamie Ward who has broken the club record individual score. In the Kent Village Cricket League game against Sturry on Sunday 18th Jun, Jamie hit an unbeaten 209, including 7 sixes and 30 fours, in Rainham’s 318 for 3 off 40 overs.

U11s Cup Runners Up

Rainham’s Under 11s missed out on cup glory in the Medway Youth League Cup Final, losing at The Mote in Maidstone to a strong Gravesend side by 19 runs. Jack Frost’s side put on a good all round performance and can be proud of their display.

Building Work Complete

Building work on the new community pavilion is now almost complete – after years of planning / fund raising and a few months of hard work over the winter / spring, the building will now be ready for the opening day on 30/04/17 and the start of the season on 06/05/17.

The Under 15 side collected their Medway League winners medals at the annual Medway Youth League Presentation evening at Lordswood Sports Club on Friday 14th October. Their individual trophies were presented by former Kent and England bowler Amjad Khan.
