Rainham Cricket Club hold an extremely successful colts section, providing children between the ages of 9-17 the opportunity to play cricket through the 3 main stages of the sporting pyramid; grassroots, participation and competition level. The club funds ECB Coaching for players / parents who give up their time free of charge, to help facilitate and encourage the development of the colts’ cricket skills. A number of players from the colts section have been selected to represent both their District and their County, illustrating how successful the set-up is, and how potential talent can be transformed into quality on the cricket field.
The ECB (England & Wales Cricket Board) is firmly and enthusiastically committed to continuing to provide an environment that is safe, welcoming and friendly for children and for all people to enjoy the game of cricket.
