Put into bat by their opponents, Rainham scored an impressive 127-1 in their 20 overs, with Harry Laing top scoring on 30 before having to “retire”, captain Finlay Rushton hitting 27 and Ben Yeo and Daniel Rogers remaining unbeaten on 21 and 16 respectively.

The bowlers then made short work of their opponents batting line up, dismissing them for 37. Charlie Mottram was the pick of the bowlers taking 4 wickets for just 6 runs, with Luke Fuller also impressing with 3 wickets for 4 runs.
